Neons & Neutrals: A knitwear collection

Neons & Neutrals: A Knitwear Collection, curated by Aimée Gille of La Bien Aimée, is the sequel to her best-selling book Worsted. The collection features 16 patterns by 16 designers, offering an eclectic mix that encourages knitters to combine yarns across brands and bases in new and unexpected ways. The designs highlight modern knitting techniques and bold color combinations. Many patterns are photographed in two different yarns and colorways to inspire knitters to create their own variations.

The collection celebrates collaboration within the knitting community, bringing together designers and yarns from producers and dyers around the world. Different sizes and price points were also considered.

Aimée explains that her goal was to create a knitwear collection unlike any other—one that encourages knitters to explore unexpected colors and textures and step outside their comfort zone.

Aimée Gille, originally from Kansas, now lives in Paris. She first opened the knitting café L’OisiveThé and later founded La Bien Aimée, a yarn company known for its hand-dyed yarns sold worldwide. Her first book, Worsted (2021), sold over 12,000 copies.
