The Hearty Pants Pattern is a comfortable, fully lined and reversible pants pattern for babies and children. The pants are designed for both woven and knit fabrics, allowing fabric choices to be tailored for the seasons. Choose a heavier weight outer fabric such as corduroy and a jersey lining for winter, or keep it light with fine cotton and jersey for warmer temperatures. The jogger style is basic with a regular fit and includes both optional pockets and elastic casings at ankles. Alternatively, the elastic can be omitted and the pants leg turned up for a different aesthetic.
