Description
Meet Frank, the jeans pattern that adapts to you. Inspired by classic heritage denim with a close fit through the hips and a cheeky cut through the seat, Frank offers mix-and-match options for rise and leg shape so that you can create the jeans of your dreams. With traditional details like a five-pocket design, fly-front zipper, angled yoke, contoured waistband, and belt loops, Frank will become the foundation of your denim wardrobe, a pattern you'll remix and repeat for years to come.
To build your perfect jeans, choose from the following rise and leg shape options:
- Mid-rise – sits just below your belly button for everyday comfort
- High rise – sits approximately one inch below your natural waist for a vintage-inspired fit that is still comfortable to wear
- Barrel leg – a contemporary shape with knee darts and a slightly cropped inseam
- Straight leg – a true classic, available in 30" and 32" inseams
- Wide leg – a sophisticated, timeless silhouette available in 30" and 32" inseams

Suggested fabric type
- Mid- to heavy-weight non-stretch denim, ideal in 10-13 oz weights. Please note that heavier weight denims will require more “breaking in". It is also possible to use stretch denim for this pattern, but we recommend a maximum of 2% lycra content. Since stretch denim has more give, you may find you need to size down through the hips and legs.
- Cotton lining for pockets and waistband (0.5 yd / 0.5 m)
