Leaf Dress/Top - Paper Pattern - Maison Fauve

A beautiful long, light dress, which swirls down to the calves, so demure in front with its flat pleats on the skirt and a demure neckline and yet from the back….a wonderful neckline ensured by a perfectly studied wrap! But Leaf is also a charming little top, neckline just right with a buttoned back.

Sewing level : intermediate , the technical points are the sewing of pleats and darts, and the assembly of the facings on the busts.

From 34 to 46 :
- For the dress, 2.90m of fabric, mid-calf length, 2.60m for the knee length.
- For the top version 1m20 of fabric for a fabric width of 140 cm.
5 buttons of 10 to 12 mm for the back of the top.
- Iron-on straight grain to reinforce the facing and prevent the opening of your wrap-around back bust which is in the direction of the bias from relaxing.
- To close your neckline in front you can use a clasp, a ribbon, a small button covered with a strap…

Fabrics: Viscose, cotton, satin, crepe, lace, etc. And you can contrast your facing or not because it is what constitutes the reverse of your little sleeves, so have fun!
