Zak Dress/Top - Paper pattern - P&M pattern

Crop-top or shirt dress, Zak is an elegant model, both modern and timeless, with very pretty finishes. The gathers under the yoke ( front and back ) give it a crazy charm, a deliciously retro look. The belt does not tighten the waist for more comfort and a slightly loose effect. Many variations are presented:

- The V-neckline can be deep or rather modest,

- The bodice is available with flounce(s) ( single or double ) or without flounce,

- The armholes can be sleeveless, with short sleeves tightened by a sleeve cuff, or cap sleeves,

- The bodice is naturally fully lined, while you have the choice of lining the skirt or not: it all depends on your fabric and the desired effect.

With all these variations, there is no doubt that you will have a lot of fun using this model again and again!

Recommended fabrics for lining: soft cotton, viscose, any fabric that can be used to line a garment...

Haberdashery:

- Iron-on canvas ( Vlieseline ® G710 or Stragier DS1/DS2) ,

- Buttons 12 to 15 mm in diameter, 5 for the Top version, 11 for the Dress version .
