Belle Épine is a charming bohemian top with a decidedly summery feel. Delicate and very feminine, it features radiating bust darts, a V-neckline front and back (the cut allows you to wear a bra), pretty tie straps, and a shaped and gathered ruffle. The pattern is fully lined, and the under-top is constructed with classic bust darts. An unlined version is also possible with neckline facings. A perfect companion for warm summer days, the pattern comes in several versions: with or without ruffles, with or without lining, so you can adapt your model as you wish. This sewing pattern is very easy to sew, with beautiful finishes, in short... Irresistible!

The Belle Épine pattern sizes from 34 to 52. The finished garment measurements chart is available in the product photos. Emilie wears Belle Épine in size 36.

Sewing level: BEGINNER, technical points are sewing bust darts, gathering, making French seams.

FABRICS

Lightweight fabrics (80 to 200 g/m2) with more or less drape depending on the desired effect for the ruffles. Your fabric should press well and not distort too much: a viscose, tencel, cotton, crepe, poplin, satin, or twill. Openwork fabrics like lace are also interesting because the pattern includes a lining.
