A devilishly feminine new dress joins the Maison Fauve wardrobe. The beautiful Rosalie is a little gem and will create a magnificent silhouette for you. Its plunging V-neckline is designed to flatter the bust without revealing too much, its line is fitted without being excessively tight, the bottom of the dress is embellished with a slit that provides ease of movement and comes alive with every step, and its pretty sleeves come in 2 types of finish: a wide tie or a buttoned cuff. And for even more sewing pleasure, the pattern is also available as a bustier-style top, perfect for summer.

The Rosalie pattern grades from 34 to 52. The finished garment measurements chart is available in the product photos. Emilie wears Rosalie in size 36.

Sewing level: advanced, the technical points are the bust pleats, the precision of the point under the neckline, the insertion of an invisible side zip, and the creation of a slit.

SUPPLIES

• Fabric for a width of 140 cm:

Dress: 34-40: 230 cm, 42: 250 cm, 44-46: 270 cm, 48-52: 290 cm

Blouse: 34-44: 140 cm, 46-52: 170 cm

• 30 cm of fusible interfacing and 4 strips of fusible stay tape 30 cm long

• 2 buttons of 10-12 mm for the buttoned sleeve finish

• An invisible zip of 40 cm

Fabric choice: a light and supple fabric, such as viscose, cotton, linen or silk, poplin, crepe, satin, fabrics between 100 and 200 g/m2. The pattern does not include a lining, if you sew Rosalie in openwork fabric I recommend wearing a camisole/slip underneath, like our Blush pattern.
