Inject some bohemian chic into your wardrobe with the Nicks dress and blouse pattern. With its soft gathers and delicate details, this homage to '70s California style is both satisfying to sew and pleasant to wear.
All versions feature a loose bodice with V-neckline, slight gathers at the shoulders and under the yoke. The sleeve, slightly balloon-shaped, is gathered at the shoulder; choose a short or long sleeve with pleats and a gathered cuff. You can also choose between two finishes for the neckline: a simple facing or a bias finish with delicate strapped buttoning. Version A is a button-front dress with a comfortable elasticated waist, long or short sleeves and a three-part gathered skirt. Version B is a voluminous tunic with a ruffle at the hips and long or short sleeves. Version C is an elegant blouse with a facing neckline and long or short sleeves.

The Nicks Dress + Blouse can be made in a variety of light to medium weight woven fabrics, with some drape. We recommend the following fabrics:
• For a fluid and light effect, choose rayon challis, viscose, silk crepe, chiffon, charmeuse or georgette.
• For a more structured garment, choose shirting cotton, cambric, voile, chambray or linen.
