Sudley Course - Dress/Top - Tailoring
Come sew your holiday outfit!
The Sudley pattern is a reversible loose blouse and/or dress with a gathered waist.
The model features keyhole cutouts, ties, a Peter Pan collar and three sleeve lengths.
Can be worn with the keyhole on the front or back.
Pattern size 0 to 20 OR 14 to 30
Print your patterns in A0 format here
Required level: Have a good command of the sewing machine and have already sewn clothes. You will complete homework.
Techniques you will learn: How to sew bias tape, gather, sew in a sleeve, modify a pattern to add pockets, understitch, work with slippery fabrics, make a Peter Pan collar (optional), line a bodice (optional).
Included: Sewing machine on site and some tools.
Not included: Your sewing accessories, the materials needed to make the dress or top and the Sudley pattern by Megan Neilsen
Depending on the width of your fabrics and the size chosen, you will need:
- Approximately 2.5 to 3m of woven fabric (available in our shop): Bourette, viscose, voile.
- Lining optional, I suggest you do the bias finishing, even for the dress.
- Thread (available in our shop).
