Nova Coat Course - Lined Coat/Jacket - Making
Make the coziest coat with the pattern Nova Coat by Papercut.
With a loose, relaxed fit and a clever bias cut at the front that conceals the extra-large pockets, this pattern is a great introduction to sewing a lined coat.
Choose the long or short version.
Opt for a lightweight fabric for a spring/summer version, or a warm wool for cooler days.

Required level: Have a good command of the sewing machine and have already sewn clothes.
Techniques you will learn: Fully lining a garment, applying a facing, understitching, using iron-on interfacing.

Depending on the width of your fabrics and the size chosen, you will need:
- Approximately 2.5 m of woven fabric (available in our shop): linen, corduroy, denim, wool.
- 2 m of lining (available in our shop).
- 0.5 m of interfacing (available in our shop).
- Thread (available in our shop).
