MODEL

PILAR is the jacket we dreamed of at Maison Fauve: a beautiful straight cut, neither too loose nor too short, and topstitched finishes. But we are incorrigible and couldn't do without signature details for this beautiful pattern: stitched dart work on the front of the jacket and the option to sew a pretty back with a box pleat to twist the iconic denim piece, or a back without a pleat.

The Pilar pattern grades from 34 to 52.

Sewing level: intermediate. The technical points are collar assembly, pleat creation, precision of stitched darts on the right side of the garment, and topstitching.

- 11 buttons from 15 to 20 mm (you can choose "real" denim jacket style buttons, covered buttons, two-hole buttons, etc.)
- If you use a fabric other than denim, lighter or softer, apply interfacing to 1 collar piece, the facing, the flaps, half of the cuffs, and the waistband (about 1m of G700)
