PATTERN
The CICADELLA blouse is a pattern full of poetry: its volume delicately shapes the bust thanks to the princess seams, the tracing of its dancer neckline scoops out at the nape and lengthens the neck. Its long sleeves with elaborate cuffs characterize this feminine and timeless model.
The pattern provides a very high level of finish suitable for openwork fabrics, with the possibility of fully lining the bust, neck and armhole seams finished with bias binding, and seam allowances designed for assembling your pieces with French seams on the bust and sleeves.
Sewing level: beginner for the unlined short-sleeve or elbow-length version, intermediate for the lined and long-sleeve versions. Technical points include bias binding, sleeve setting, tear-resistant slit, pointed cuff assembly, gathering.

Light to medium weight fabrics (80 to 200 g/m2) with more or less drape depending on the desired look. Viscose, fine and soft jacquard, tencel, cotton, crepe, poplin, satin, or twill. For lined versions, choose beautiful lace, guipure and matching cotton voile for the lining.
