Créez votre composition botanique unique réalisée en appliqué à la main, qui pourra ensuite servir à confectionner un sac fourre-tout, un empiècement de veste, le début d’une magnifique courtepointe ou encore une œuvre d’art encadrée!
Les débutants enthousiastes sont les bienvenus!
Apportez vos sources d’inspiration:
Des photos, imprimées ou sur votre cellulaire, de vos fleurs préférées, de compositions florales, de votre jardin, etc. Vous pouvez vous concentrer sur une seule fleur détaillée ou sur une variété de fleurs plus simples. Jenn apportera également des livres de référence sur les fleurs que les participants pourront consulter.
Matériel à apporter (à ajouter au besoin lors de l'inscription):
- Épingles à appliqué
- Aiguilles de modiste
- Fil de calibre 60 à 100
OPTIONEL: 1 fat Quarter pour le fond et vos retailles de tissus
Tout le reste du matériel est inclus.

Free-form Botanical Applique All Day!
Appliqué by hand the garden of your dreams in this full-day workshop! Using your own floral inspirations you'll create a one-of-a-kind botanical appliquéd masterpiece that can then be used to create a tote bag, jacket panel, the start of an amazing quilt, or framed artwork! Enthusiastic beginners welcome!
Bring Inspiration:
Photos, printed or on your phone, of your favourite flowers, floral arrangements, your garden, etc. You can focus on one detailed flower, or a variety of simpler flowers. Jenn will bring some floral reference books for participants to use as well.
Tools to bring (to be added if necessary during registration):
- Appliqué pins
- Milliner's needles
- 60–100wt thread
OPTIONAL: 1 fat quarter for the background and your fabric scraps
All other supplies are included.

Course cancellation and re-do policy
- During the same session, you can only postpone one course .
- If you cancel your registration before the start of the session, you will be given a full refund.
- If you cancel after the session has started, you will receive a refund of 90% of the amount paid, less fees for courses already taken.

How to choose the right sewing course?
“I don’t know how to use a sewing machine.”
Choose Initiation and free project and check Initiation ($28 of materials for the 1st project).
You will learn the basic operation of the sewing machine starting with the first mandatory project, a zippered pouch, the first 2 weeks. You will then be able to make a free project by choosing it with the help of the teacher.
“I know how to use a sewing machine, but I need help with everything else.”
Choose Initiation and Free Project , do not check Initiation!
From the first class, bring your printed pattern and all the materials you need to complete your project.
* We advise you to start your project on your own, if you are able, to take full advantage of the learning time with your teacher.
“I have to miss a class, what do I do?”
Atelier Espace Fabrik cannot be held responsible if a student is unable to attend their class or if the retakes offered do not fit into their schedule.
If you must miss a class, please notify us by email at info@espacefabrik.com as soon as possible.

You cannot retake a course in place of another student who has missed one of their courses.
“How do I resume my course?”
Contact us at info@espacefabrik.com to receive your course resumption code.
You can then book your course resumption time slot online by visiting the A la carte Courses page.
If you are unable to attend your course resumption, it is your responsibility to notify us 24 hours in advance and reschedule your resumption by starting the procedure again.
Day Camp Cancellation Policy
If possible, please notify us 4 weeks before the start of the camp to allow another young person to participate.
Cancellation of a registration is authorized up to 10 business days before the start of the camp week. However, there is a non-refundable administrative fee of $40. No refund will be given if you cancel your registration less than 10 business days before the start of the reserved week. Registration fees will be refunded only upon presentation of a medical certificate.

“What about my 15-year-old?”
A course for young people or adults?
The Youth classes are mainly attended by children aged 8 to 14 and the atmosphere is often lively and friendly!
If your teenager prefers calm and fiercely protects his bubble, adult classes will welcome him with open arms.
