Discover the essential steps to making a garment that will fit you perfectly.
In the first lesson, after taking measurements, you will learn how to choose your pattern and its size. You will gain a better understanding of how to read a finished garment size chart and how to determine the ease of a garment's fit.
In the 2nd and 3rd lessons, we will work on your pattern.
You will learn how to make various simple modifications to adapt it to your body shape.
Time is set aside in each class to create (by cutting and pasting) sheets of common pattern modifications:
- changes in length
- width modifications
At the end of the course you will leave with your pattern modified according to your body shape and will be ready to continue with the creation of your muslin or garment.
You will have your adjustments guide in hand, which you can refer to for your future projects.

Included > Rulers, tracing paper and pattern-making accessories
Please bring : A simple commercial pattern for woven fabric (patterns can be purchased on site), 2 fine-point pencils of different colors (e.g., Pilot 0.5 red, blue)

- During the same session, you can only postpone one course .
- If you cancel your registration before the start of the session, you will be given a full refund.
- If you cancel after the session has started, you will receive a refund of 90% of the amount paid, less fees for courses already taken.
